BIAffinity
Instrument
Label
free Interaction Analysis
The
RIfS System is a powerful tool for analyzing this molecular interaction with a
modern biochip technology. The optical technique is a label free method that
allows the time resolved determination of affinity binding in a fast, simple and
elegant way
System
for label free characterization of biomolecular interactions - the combination
of biochips with flexible surfaces and a convincing system technique enables a
high sensitive and reliable detection of binding events between biologically
active molecules. The BIAffinity is computer-controlled with internal
microcomputers and the external PC controlling all functions of device
monitoring, such as flow rate, system temperature as well as the analytical
process and data acquisition. High performance software enhances the modern
concept of BIAffinity®. The software is modular and combines compact control
software WinBIAM and the analysis module WinAnalysis.
The comprehensive user administration enables assignment of user rights by
simple mouse click. WinBIAM
enables simple, concise and user friendly handling of the system.

SpeedCycler
Thermal
Cycler 36wells/96wells
The
instrument implements heating rates of 12° C/s and cooling rates of 8° C/s.
Optimized times for dehybridization and annealing make full use of the speed
potential, e. g. of Taq polymerases. The interaction of the system components
results in a speed that is up to ten times higher than that obtained with
conventional thermal cyclers.
A typical protocol allows a PCR of 25 cycles to be run within less than 8
min.

Innupure
C12 - Purification Robot
Automated
Isolation & Purification of Nucleic Acids & Proteins
The
InnuPure C12 is a new, flexible and efficient extraction system for the
completely automated isolation and purification of nucleic acids and proteins.
The system, which was developed and produced in Germany, is designed for small
and medium sample throughput. A wide range of starting materials can be
processed. The system combines a unique way of performing liquid handling steps
with an extremely fast walk-away principle.
-
Flexible
and efficient extraction system
-
For
numerous types of starting materials
-
Completely
automated and compact
The
InnuPure C12 is equipped with preinstalled application programs to eliminate
time-consuming programming. The high degree of flexibility of InnuPure C12
allows the isolation of DNA or RNA from up to twelve samples in parallel. The
work intensive steps for sample lysis that were often necessary up to now are
now incorporated into the automated extraction process.

The
nucleic acids to be isolated are adsorbed to surface-functionalized paramagnetic
particles. The required extraction chemistry is optimally adapted to the
application at hand and facilitates the isolation of very pure nucleic acids
with excellent yields.

Cell
Celector
Fully
Automated Selector & Harvestor of Cells
The
patented CellCelector™ made by AVISO GmbH is a multifunctional robotic system
for the automatic selection and harvest of cell clones and individual cells. The
system combines functionality and versatility with a flexible and user-friendly
software for use in various applications in biological laboratories,
universities and research facilities.
The CellCelector™ is made up of an image capture system, consisting of an
inverse microscope (optional with fluorescence unit) and a CCD camera, a
swivelling robotic arm for liquid handling, and a platform for 96 well plates,
reagents and disposable tips. A number of easily exchangeable harvest modules
allow the CellCelector™ to support a variety of applications. New modules and
application are continually being developed by Aviso to support our customer
needs. An optional flow box can be included for working under sterile
conditions.
With our patented separation technology, the damage to cells / colonies can be
minimized while increasing the yield to a level that cannot be achieved with
conventional methods. The CellCelector™ increases both the quantity and
quality of your cell selection and harvest.
The process on the CellCelector™ is completely automated and runs in 3 steps:
|
Scan:
|
The
contents of the culture dish is scanned and the data is forwarded to the
Imaging Software for analysis.
|
|
Detection:
|
On
the basis of physical and/or spectral parameters such as form, size,
shape, intensity of fluorescence or even proximity to neighbouring cell
or colonies. Targets are automatically detected by the software.
|
|
Harvest:
|
Selected
cells are automatically picked and transported to the destination plate.
The complete process is documented (i.e. before and after images of each
harvested sample are stored in a database)

The
following CellCelector™ applications are currently available and additional
application are continuously under development:

SpeedMill
P12
Homogenizer
The
SpeedMill P12 is a highly efficient homogenization system for various starting
materials that are to be used for the subsequent isolation and purification of
DNA, RNA or proteins. The homogenization process is based on an innovative
mechanical principle for which a patent has been filed. Through this new
process, the substantial sample warming that occurs with other homogenizers is
prevented; thus, the SpeedMill can be operated continuously if necessary. The
SpeedMill is manufactured using the latest carbon fiber technology. In
operation, the homogenizer is comparatively quiet.
