QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System – The QX200 Droplet Digital PCR System consists of two instruments, the QX200 Droplet Generator and the QX200 Droplet Reader, and their associated consumables.
The QX200 Droplet Generator is used to partition ddPCR reaction mix into thousands of nanoliter-sized droplets. After PCR on a thermal cycler, droplets from each sample are analyzed individually on the QX200 Droplet Reader. Droplets are read well by well as they are streamed single file past a two-color optical detection system in a serial manner. Up to 96 samples can be processed per run. The PCR-positive and PCR-negative droplets are counted to provide absolute quantification of target DNA in digital form. Alternatively, amplified products can be extracted from droplets following PCR for downstream applications, such as sequencing or cloning.
Automated ddPCR™ System – The QX200 AutoDG Droplet Digital PCR System provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules for EvaGreen and probe-based Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) applications. The Automated Droplet Generator simplifies the ddPCR workflow, making digital PCR both scalable and practical.
The AutoDG Instrument eliminates user-to-user variability, allowing you to fully exploit the precision of ddPCR technology by providing more consistent droplet counts across users and plates. The AutoDG Instrument also minimizes hands-on time — it takes less than 5 minutes to load the instrument, and no supervision or user activity is required during droplet generation.
Digital PCR Assays – Our digital PCR assays are hydrolysis probe–based assays that were designed by experts in the digital PCR field. Every digital PCR assay has been experimentally validated to ensure optimal performance for its target application.
Digital PCR assays are based on Droplet Digital™ PCR (ddPCR™) technology and feature unrivaled accuracy, precision, and sensitivity in providing an absolute measure of target DNA molecules.
Digital PCR Supermixes – Our digital PCR supermixes are optimized to deliver maximum PCR efficiency and sensitivity for the amplification and detection of DNA and RNA targets. These digital PCR supermixes are fully validated for use on the QX200™ Droplet Digital™ System.
ddPCR Oils – Oils required for conducting digital PCR experiments include Droplet Generation Oils and Droplet Reader Oil. Droplet Generation Oils are used to create sample-in-oil droplets required for Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™), and different formulations are available for both probe and EvaGreen detection chemistries.
ddPCR Consumables – DG8 Cartridges are intended for use with the QX200™/QX100™ Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR™) Systems and enable droplet preparation of up to eight samples at a time.
Droplet generation takes approximately 2 minutes for each set of eight samples (30 minutes for a 96-well plate). All eight sample wells in the DG8 Cartridge must contain sample (or 1x buffer control), and all eight oil wells must contain Droplet Generation Oil.
DG8 Gaskets are used for sealing DG8 Cartridges and are provided with the QX200 Droplet Generator.

Before returning any reagents or goods, please contact us to obtain an authorization and shipping instructions. A return authorization will ensure the safe and proper handling of material and enable us to expedite a resolution. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted. Kindly note for certain specific products like primary cell lines, hepatocytes, microsomes, tissues where the storage is below -20°C, we reserve the right not to accept any returns. Shipment of authorized returns should be made within 3 days of confirmation received from us.
We will do our best to fulfil requests to return material. However, in order to maintain the quality of our products and continue to provide competitive prices, certain items may not be returned. These items include: diagnostic reagents; refrigerated or frozen products; reagents and standards which have passed their expiration dates; custom products or special offers; products missing labels, parts, or instruction manuals; and books, computer software and equipment removed from their original packaging. Returns accepted for items ordered in error may be subject to a 30% processing fee and all returns must be returned within 10 days of purchase.
