Description

Davalintide ELISA for estimation in serum, plasma, or tissue extracts in pharmacokinetics, peptide delivery study and others. Davalintide, a novel amylin-mimetic peptide, is an amylinomimetic with increased potency, efficacy, and duration of action, binding with high affinity to amylin, calcitonin and calcitonin gene-related peptide receptors. Amylin affects glucose control through several mechanisms, including slowed gastric emptying, regulation of postprandial glucagon, and reduction of food intake, and Davalintide is under investigation for diabetes mellitus.
