Description

Deslorelin ELISA for estimation in serum, plasma, or tissue extracts in pharmacokinetics, peptide delivery study and others. A GnRH antagonist, Deslorelin desensitises GnRH receptors reducing the release of LH and FSH from the pituitary. Used in veterinary medicine, it is primarily used for the initial flare effect upon the pituitary, and its associated surge of LH secretion, unlike other GnRH receptor drugs.
